On September 28, 2026 Amazon listed the calendar at $29.99, sold by Amazon, as "Available by invitation": you press Request invite, and Amazon says it cannot grant every request. Office Depot listed it at $32.99 as an item sold in stores. Walmart's listing for a Schylling NeeDoh advent calendar names no year and showed as not available, and Target's site search showed other NeeDoh toys but not the calendar. Schylling's own store has paused new orders. Learning Express in Wilmington ($39.99), Friends NYC ($69.99), The Rocket ($99.99) and ToyWiz ($129.99) were all sold out.

- Yahoo Shopping describes the mix as running from classic cubes and gumdrops to other shapes; Toy Insider says some are exclusive holiday editions.

How to Spot a Fake NeeDoh Advent Calendar
Counterfeits are common because the real calendar is hard to find. Toy Book reported that police seized a counterfeit haul worth more than $214,000 in a fake-NeeDoh case at a South Carolina mall on July 27, 2026, and Schylling published buying guidance on May 18, 2026.
Four checks before you pay
- Brand: the box and the listing name Schylling. On Amazon the real listing says "Visit the Schylling Store" and "Sold by Amazon.com". A second Amazon listing under the brand name "Needoh" was unavailable on September 28.
- Price: list price is $29.99. Amazon and Office Depot showed $29.99 and $32.99, and sold-out toy shops listed $39.99 to $129.99. A price far below $25 from a seller you do not know points to a fake.
- Seller: Schylling says authentic NeeDoh is sold through Schylling, independent toy and gift stores, and select online and national retailers.
- Photos and box: Schylling warns about unfamiliar websites, copied product photos and unusual packaging. The real box is black with neon artwork and the words "24 days of surprises".
Safety note
- Schylling's label reads: "Do NOT heat, freeze, or microwave, may cause personal injury." Schylling also advises not to cut or puncture the toys.
- A proposed class action filed on July 21, 2026, Mendoza v. Schylling, alleges that NeeDoh toys can rupture when exposed to heat. These are allegations that have not been tested in court.
- Throw away any NeeDoh that tears or leaks.
2026 vs 2025: What Changed
On paper the calendar matches 2025: the same count, toy size, age rating and list price. The difference in 2026 is demand: Yahoo Shopping reported that it sold out almost instantly this summer, and Amazon sells it by invitation.

Two things define 2026: Amazon sells the calendar by invitation, and Schylling also sells a 13-door Halloween countdown, Funky Frights, for October. We could not confirm whether the 24 toys are new designs, because Schylling has not published either list.
