About WishDeck
WishDeck is a free wishlist app for iPhone, Android and the web. You paste a link from any store, the photo, name and price fill in, and you share one link with the people who buy you gifts. They reserve in secret, so nothing arrives twice. WishDeck Software Inc. was founded in 2024 and is based in Canada. The app is free; an optional Premium tier adds Circles and unlimited AI gift searches.

Who writes the guides

Aliona co-founded WishDeck, builds its web app, and writes and edits the gift guides. She runs the product checks herself: every guide is a list of things she would put on her own family's wishlists, priced and verified before it goes out. LinkedIn
How products are chosen
A guide starts from what people search for and from what WishDeck users actually add to their wishlists. Products make the list when they are current-season, in stock at a mainstream US retailer, and well reviewed by buyers; we prefer official brand listings and the retailer's own stock over marketplace resellers. Each guide caps itself at a clean count, usually 20, and every product gets an honest limitation, not only pros.
How we verify stock and prices
Every product link is opened and checked on the retailer's site with a US delivery address on the date printed in the guide. Guides carry a visible “checked in stock on” date, a Facts line under each product with counts, sizes and the price we saw, and an updated date in the byline. In-season guides, such as advent calendars in the autumn, are re-checked weekly and carry a “What changed this week” note. A price is what we saw that day at that retailer; prices move, so the date is the source of truth.
How links earn
Shop buttons in guides are affiliate links. If you buy through one, the retailer may pay WishDeck a commission at no cost to you. Which retailer appears first is decided by stock and price on the day of the check, with Amazon listed first when it sells the exact product, because it is the store most readers already use. Commission never puts a product on a list; a product we would not put on our own wishlist does not appear. Details are on the advertiser disclosure page.
How AI is used
We use AI tools to research listings, draft copy and run the checks faster. A person chooses the products, opens every link, confirms every price and date, and signs off on every guide. WishDeck's own AI gift assistant inside the app suggests ideas from what real users are adding to their wishlists; it does not write the guides.
Corrections
